flAIr, AI-powered matching
flAIr recognizes your pet's face and watches over your area around the clock. The moment a found pet resembles yours, it lets you know.
animALERTE's artificial intelligence
flAIr is the artificial intelligence system built by animALERTE to reconnect lost and found pets. It watches new reports in your area around the clock and analyzes every listing against several criteria. Rather than flooding you with random suggestions, it surfaces only credible leads: before alerting you, flAIr weighs each match to keep only the ones that are genuinely plausible.
What is it?
flAIr is an artificial-intelligence system that recognizes a pet's face, its coat colour, its patterns and its eye colour. It is the only one of its kind serving lost pets in Quebec.
How it works
- 1
You post your pet
flAIr starts from your photos and your listing, especially the front-facing photo.
- 2
It watches your area
flAIr continuously analyzes found pets reported near you.
- 3
It evaluates each match
Facial features, coat, proximity and date consistency: flAIr keeps only the truly plausible leads.
- 4
It alerts you
As soon as a found pet resembles yours, flAIr lets you know.
What flAIr analyzes
Facial features
flAIr compares the shape of the ears, eyes and nose, along with the colour and pattern of the coat on the face.
The coat
The type and length of the fur, shorthair or longhair, refine the match.
Geographic proximity
Two nearby towns raise the likelihood of a real match; nearby matches are prioritized.
Timeline consistency
flAIr checks the timeline: an animal found on or after the disappearance date stays plausible; found before it, the match is impossible and is discarded.
Credible leads, not noise
Rather than flooding you with random suggestions, flAIr evaluates each match and surfaces only the ones that are truly plausible. You get an alert when it is worth a look.
What it gives you
- Facial recognition, beyond keywords.
- Continuous watch over your area.
- Only plausible matches.
- An alert as soon as a found pet resembles yours.
- Technology exclusive to animALERTE.
